About our work

The NEI Genetic Engineering Core (GEC) provides services in mouse reverse genetics including the production of genome edited mouse models by CRISPR-mediated homologous recombination, indel mutagenesis, base editing and PRIME editing, mainly for NEI intramural research programs and open to other institutes on NIH campus.
