VISION Public Information Network

About the VISION Network

NEI and VISION Network members share information, disseminate research results to local and national media, pool resources, collaborate on community outreach programs, and inform the public of the mission of the NIH and results from NEI-funded research.

Current members

Members include Public Information Officers or their designees at eye institutes, departments of ophthalmology, and schools and colleges of optometry, as well as communications contacts at scientific and professional organizations related to vision research. View a list of current member institutions.

Listserv and communicating

Communication among members and NEI is easy and open. If you are a Public Information Officer representing an eye health or vision-related organization, send an email to Joe Balintfy, joe.balintfy@nih.gov.
