A postdoctoral fellowship is available in the intramural program of the National Eye Institute (NEI). This position is in the Genetic Engineering Core of NEI, developing state of art CRISPRi and CRISPRa systems. The successful candidate will focus on the development and applications of CRISPR/Cas-based genome editing technologies for genetic and epigenetic engineering in mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells and mouse models. Solid training in molecular biology and mouse ES cell biology is a must. Preference will be given to recent Ph.D. graduates with strong interests and motivation in developing novel biotechnology for exciting applications in ocular biology. U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, and non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply.
